最近籃球界又掀起一股喬丹熱（MichaelJordan），這位籃球之神主演的電影《怪物奇兵》，以及風行至今的喬丹鞋，都正好年滿20週年，NBA還打算為喬丹拍攝長達10小時的紀錄片，但權利金喊價高達2000萬美元，大約6.4億台幣。

這一部混合真人和動畫的卡通電影《怪物奇兵》，上映至今已經滿20周年，由喬丹所代言的喬丹牌，也即將開辦20周年紀念活動，第一波推出的，就是這一部《The Monstars》20秒預告片。
喬丹能否回歸大螢幕，讓粉絲相當期待，而根據紐約郵報爆料，NBA將和電影公司合作，為喬丹拍攝長達10小時的紀錄片，帶大家重溫籃球之神復出，又締造第二度3連霸的傳奇，以及轉戰美國職棒等轉折，不過，喬丹團隊開出2000萬美元，大約6.4億台幣的高額權利金。
喬丹堪稱是NBA全球化的第一功臣，紀錄片會不會有人買帳，從他的喬丹鞋熱賣至今，已經出到第31代就可以看得出來，未來記錄片上映時，絕對會挾著龐大的喬丹商機再度席捲全球。(民視新聞詹可旬、余啟成綜合報導)
